The farm's own words

Hello valued customer.

Welcome to Namakata Mixed Farms

How we farm
  • Seconds sold, not dumped. Cosmetically odd fruit goes out as a deal, with the reason written on it.
  • Dry-farmed where we can. Less water after transplant, smaller fruit, and the flavour concentrates.
  • We plant for the season. Not for the shelf. A heavy crop becomes a deal rather than going back into the ground.
  • Hand weeded. Slower than spraying, and the soil keeps what lives in it.

What buyers say

★★★★★
Ordered at six, it was at the door before eight the next morning. Still cold from the field.
Ife O., Lekki
★★★★★
You can taste the difference between a week-old carrot and one pulled yesterday. I did not believe it either.
Sam W., Berkeley
★★★★★
Third order in a row where everything arrived exactly as described. That is rarer than it should be.
Adaeze N., Yaba
