Our Story
Valley Fish Farm started with a simple dream: to build something that could grow from the ground up and create a better future.
Located in the beautiful Mpumalanga countryside near Barberton, our farm began with a passion for fish farming and a vision to produce healthy, quality animals and fish for our community.
What started as a small idea has grown into a diverse farming operation with fish ponds, tanks, rabbits, goats, and a growing range of farm products. Every part of the farm is built around the same values: **hard work, quality, sustainability, and care for the animals we raise.**
From our fish ponds to our livestock, we believe in raising healthy animals and providing products that our customers can trust. We are constantly learning, improving, and expanding our farm so that we can offer better quality and more opportunities in the future.
Our dream is bigger than just farming. We want Valley Fish Farm to become a trusted name in aquaculture and agriculture — supplying quality fish, fingerlings, livestock, and farm products while building a sustainable future.

- Picked to order. Nothing is harvested until it is sold, so nothing sits in storage.
- Compost and cover crops. Vetch and rye over winter, and nothing synthetic on the beds.
- Seconds sold, not dumped. Cosmetically odd fruit goes out as a deal, with the reason written on it.
- Dry-farmed where we can. Less water after transplant, smaller fruit, and the flavour concentrates.
